TRIBE UJIMA |
|
! Important
Notice! We (the Tribe Ujima) define a Tribe as meaning: a collective group of individuals, families, and / or Organizations that share resources, knowledge, and take care of each other. Under this definition members of a tribe are connected by an oath of unity, a common set of goals, a common leader ship, (in the case of this Tribe an elected leader ship) and common values. This is a Tribe; not a street gang, cult, criminal organization, or a hate group in any way shape or form. If you want to kill hurt steal from, rape, sell drugs too or fight any group of people or person you are in the wrong place. If you are interested in doing or are currently doing any of those things it is our civic duty to tell the authorities, and WE WILL WITH PRIDE. This Tribe is against crime, drugs, and terrorism in any and all forms. We are NOT anti-American, anti-white, or "anti- any race", but we ARE PRO-BLACK, and Socialist. We have (but are not confined to) Afrocentric values. |

It is time for us
Black People to join together and form a Tribe that can and will help us
support ourselves. In the tradition of our African ancestors let us come
together to protect, help, and take care of each other. This union will
have to take into account today's reality with its challenges, issues, and
politics, as well as modern day technology, social progress, and laws.
Don’t allow any outside factors or people stop
us. |

The meaning of Ujima UJIMA is best know as one of the 7 principles of Kwanzaa or as part of the NGUZO SABA. I feel that this principle is important on its own and is the foundation for this tribe's ideology. Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) To build and maintain our community together and make our brother's and sister's problems our problems and to solve them together. http://www.swagga.com/kwanzaa.htm Dr. Maulana Karenga is the creator of Kwanzaa |
